Bolton Recovery Services Ltd
Company number: 11790995
Registered office: Unit G16 Hartford House, Weston Street, Bolton, England, BL3 2AW

2. Information we collect
We only collect the information we need to respond to your enquiry, dispatch recovery assistance, and run our website effectively.
Contact and quote forms
When you submit an enquiry, callout request, or quote request through a form on our site, we collect the details you provide, which may include your name, phone number, email address, vehicle details, your location or postcode, and the content of your message.
Phone calls
If you call us using a phone number shown on the site (including “click-to-call” links), we receive the number you’re calling from and any details you give us about your breakdown or recovery needs. If calls are recorded for training, quality, or dispute-resolution purposes, this will be made clear to you at the start of the call.
Postcode checker and coverage map
Our coverage map lets you enter a postcode to check whether we cover your area. We process the postcode you enter in order to return a result. The map itself is powered by Leaflet.js and displays map tiles from a third-party mapping provider (such as OpenStreetMap), which may log your IP address as part of delivering those tiles — this is outside our direct control and is covered by that provider’s own privacy policy.
Automatically collected information
Like most websites, we automatically collect some technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time spent on the site, referring website, and general location (town/region level, inferred from your IP address).
Analytics and advertising cookies
We use tools such as Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand how visitors use our site and to measure the performance of our advertising. See section 5 (Cookies) for details.

7. International data transfers
Some of the third-party tools we use (such as Google Analytics and Google Ads, and the map tile provider behind our coverage checker) may process data on servers located outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on those providers’ compliance with recognised safeguards, such as the UK’s International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent adequacy protections.
8. How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry and job-related information for as long as needed to provide our service and meet our legal, accounting, and insurance obligations, typically for 6 years after the last interaction, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised. Analytics data is retained according to the relevant provider’s default settings unless we configure a shorter period.
